Tours DUO Project, Paris

Jean Nouvel has won approval for "Tours DUO" in Paris. The mixed-use project, planned to rise on a former industrial site on the edge of the Seine in the Paris Rive Gauche district, aims to become a "top business real estate destination".  Leaning to form an asymmetrical "V," the project consists of two towers: a 180 meters high and 39 stories tower including offices, auditorium, corporate restaurant and retail stores on the ground floor and another 125 meters high and 28 stories tower meant to house a hotel (139 rooms), as well as retail stores, offices, panoramic restaurants and bar.

These two buildings aim at increasing the pleasure of being in this place. They seek out views, accommodate vegetation on their terraces; their summits are open to all. The hotel offers a panoramic restaurant and a large roof-covered terrace facing the Seine and historic Paris. The summit of the office tower features a panoramic meeting space as part of the development program. Both towers are expected to achieve "exceptional energy performance" with LEED® Platinum, HQE® and Effinergie+ certifications. “Tours DUO” is currently under construction.
