10 & 30 Hudson Yards, NY

The Hudson Yards Masterplan aims to expand the midtown Manhattan business district westward towards the Hudson River with residential space, office towers, retail outlets, a collection of high-end restaurants, a new center for artistic invention, and a luxury hotel with more than 200 rooms. Anchoring the largest private real estate development in U.S. history, 10 and 30 Hudson Yards are parts of this master plan, designed by KPF.

 

 

 

 

 

 


The tallest tower in the development, 30 Hudson Yards is home to the highest outdoor observation deck in the Western Hemisphere, the Edge. The Edge cantilevers over 24 meters out from the 100th floor of the “30 Hudson Yards” and hovers 345 meters above the city streets below. The 395 meters-tall 30 Hudson Yards is the third tallest office building in New York City and serves as the headquarters for global media and entertainment company Warner Media, as well as its subsidiaries, HBO, CNN, and Warner Brothers. The 100th floor at 30 Hudson Yards is also home to the $25 billion shopping mall which is the main access point to Edge.

 

 

 

 

 

 


The 52-story office tower dubbed 10 Hudson Yards was completed in 2016. The tower offers more than 1.7 million square feet of Class-A Midtown office space. It was the first commercial office building in the city to earn LEED v2009 Platinum certification for its sustainable features. Amenities at 10 Hudson Yards include floor-to-ceiling windows, column-free office space with floor plates ranging from 31,162 to 34,133 square feet, and panoramic views of the city and of the Hudson River. The tower serves as COACH’s global headquarters as well as host to such world-class companies as L’Oreal USA and SAP.
