Green Heart, Marina One, Singapore

“Marina One”, which was designed by Ingenhoven Architects in cooperation with landscape architects Gustafson Porter + Bowman, is located in the heart of Singapore’s new Marina Bay financial district.
This mixed-use building complex comprises four high-rise buildings which accommodate two office towers, two residential towers and a shared central space; the "Green Heart". It is a free-formed three-dimensional biodiversity garden on a landscaped area of 37,000 square meters.
Floors of the 30-story office towers, each with an area of 175.000 m2, will be the largest “Grade-A” office floors in Singapore. They also meet the “LEED Platinum Pre-certification” and the local “Green Mark Platinum” standards for their sustainable design.
The two 34-story luxury residential towers provide 1,042 city apartments and penthouses for about 3,000 residents and most residents will get to enjoy a private lift right into their home.

The complex also includes restaurants and cafés, retail areas, a fitness club, pool, pharmacy, supermarket, food court, and events areas on the different open terraces. The efficient design is complemented by energy-saving ventilation systems, highly effective external solar screening devices, and glazing that reduces solar radiation into the building.
Marina One is the winner of MIPIM Award 2018 for “The Best Innovative Green Building”.
