Five Luxury Residential Projects Designed by Luxury Car Brands
Luxury car brands including Bentley, Bugatti, Aston Martin, and Porsche are making the move into high-end homes. Last year Bugatti unveiled its first residential development in Dubai. The tower is the latest foray into real estate by luxury car brands, which are now developing numerous high-end apartments and houses.
Each of the residential buildings has uniquely car-centric details that place the residents' prized vehicles at center stage, including bespoke garages and car elevators. Read on for five residential projects designed by luxury car companies:
Porsche Design Tower Miami, USA
by Porsche and Dezer Development
German car brand Porsche worked with Dezer Development to create its first residential real-estate project Porsche Design Tower Miami, which opened in 2017. The 60-storey skyscraper contains automated car elevators that allow residents to drive their cars into their apartments and a vehicle concierge offering regular car maintenance, tire changes, and washing.
Bentley Residences, USA
by Sieger Suarez Architects, Bentley and Dezer Development
Also working with Dezer Development, Bentley and Sieger Suarez Architects have designed a skyscraper as the car company's first branded residential project. The building will be located almost next door to the Porsche Design Tower Miami in Miami beach, with both brands owned by the Volkswagen Group. Expected to be completed in 2026, the 61-storey skyscraper will feature a car elevator that takes residents in their cars from the ground floor to their apartments.
Bugatti Residences, UAE
by Bugatti and Binghatti
French luxury car company Bugatti recently unveiled designs for its first endeavor in residential real estate – a sinuous 42-storey skyscraper in Dubai containing 171 apartments and 11 penthouses with curved balconies. Developed in partnership with local developer Binghatti, the residential tower will have two garage-to-penthouse car lifts similar to Bentley Residences, allowing residents to drive their cars directly into their homes.
Sylvan Rock, USA
by S3 Architecture and Aston Martin
Sylvan Rock is a black cedar house in Hudson Valley, NY, with a faceted metal roof mimicking the surrounding rocky landscape. The house is designed by US studio S3 Architecture and British luxury carmaker Aston Martin. The house is the first project to be designed using Aston Martin's Automotive Galleries and Lairs service, which the company launched in 2019 for clients to design bespoke garages and homes that showcase their most prized vehicles.
Aston Martin Residences, USA
by David Adjaye and Aston Martin
Aston Martin collaborated with British-Ghanaian architect David Adjaye to design five apartments in Adjaye's 130 William skyscraper in Manhattan. Each resident will also receive a limited-edition, Adjaye-designed Aston Martin DBX. The five Aston Martin Residences will be located on the 59th and 60th floors of the 244-metre-tall tower, which is still under construction, and are distinguished from other apartments with furniture, finishes and decorations supplied by the Aston Martin Home Collection.
