West Side Place, Australia

Designed by the award-winning Cottee Parker Architects, West Side Place will provide the ultimate luxury living experience in Melbourne’s CBD. Far East Consortium purchased the site in 2013 and is now developing this 1.2 hectare site into a $2 billion destination precinct. West Side Place is a complex of four residential and hotel buildings. The project will be Melbourne's biggest inner-city development, encompassing 97,000 m2 of floor space.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Stage 1 of this iconic development will house 1376 apartments over two towers, as well as the Melbourne’s first Ritz-Carlton Hotel at 270 meters high with 257 luxury hotel suites, a business center, a 550-seat grand ballroom and a check-in desk that boasts panoramic sky views from level 80. Stage 2 will provide a further 1519 apartments over two towers with retail arcades and the addition of a 308 room Dorsett Hotel (4 Star).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The tallest of the buildings within the complex, Tower A, will comprise 600 apartments and the 5–star Ritz-Carlton Hotel spanning across 81 levels. At a height of 270 meters, it will become one of the tallest buildings in Australia. The 65-level Tower B will comprise 520 apartments and Dorsett Hotel and will reach a height of 211 meters. The third skyscraper will reach 230 meters, 70 levels, and will comprise 778 apartments. The 240-metre-tall Tower D will include 805 apartments across 72 levels. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Residential amenities include pools, gyms, private dining rooms, wine tasting/cellar, cinema, virtual golf, meeting areas and more. This city block precinct will provide residents access to a remarkable array of recreation and leisure spaces, including over 3000sqm of ground floor retail and 475sqm of dedicated parkland and garden spaces.
